Highly recommend to any parent with young children. Invest in your kids and especially their future. This has taught my daughter invaluable lessons that I never could have expected. To watch not just my daughter but each one of these kids growing, maturing, learning how to persevere, encourage others, and go from being timid and afraid to confident and courageous is something worth investing in and shows me just how great Coach Hannah is and how valuable she is for our kids and this community. Thank you Coach. You're doing an amazing job and providing this level of training with so much care and attention to each kid is truly appreciated.
Hanna does a great job working with kids. She teaches them at their pace and is always encouraging!
Hanna is absolutely amazing and so patient. Her son is also absolutely great helping the kids his age learn as well. Hanna is also always quick to answer any questions! It's just an amazing place!
My 6 year old son just started classes and LOVES it. He is having so much fun while learning different skills, good sportsmanship, discipline, and so much more! Hannah is so kind and patient and does an amazing job with the kids!
My grandson just turned 4 and I seen this awesome opportunity for him to interact with kids his age and have some friends away from home! He’s not in school yet so having him in a place that teaches him to listen and follow instructions was perfect and not only that he uses his energy in a productive way!! Black Diamond Grappling has been great for my daughter (5) to join. The instructor is great with kids which is a bonus! This has helped her with her confidence and overall strength. I definitely recommend!
Me and my sons just began classes at Black Diamond Grappling Club, and we were all nervous as none of us had ever participated in any sport similar to Ju Jitsu. However; we were pleased after just one lesson to see how excited my kids were to learn, how confident they were to show off their newly acquired skills, and how eager they were for their next lesson, it was also very reassuring seeing how patient the instructors were with new kids, as well as adults. You can come with experience, but don’t need to feel hesitant if its your first time, if your interested in learning self defense, or just wanting to boost your confidence, you can start by signing up for your first class!
This class has had our 7yr old hooked since the second class. The instructors are great with kids and give great direction to help them learn each move. They’re always encouraging them to grow on and off of the mat. You also can’t beat the price for the number of lessons they have each month which is a nice bonus!
Can not recommend this place enough. We enrolled our 7 year old and has absolutely fell in love with the sport. Hannah is great with the students. You're getting more than you pay for with Black Diamond Grappling.So I really feel the need to add an edit:The first "lesson" I took my son to he hated and did not participate. All he wanted to do was leave. He sat on the side the entire time and asked multiple times to leave. But that was once, since then he has been overly eager to attend class. Now he begs to go (so far) 2 hours early. The amount of confidence he has is astounding, and it has been gained from classes here. ENROLL YOUR CHILD AND YOURSELF TODAY!
My daughter and I both attend classes here. We both love it! The gym is clean and Coach Hannah is excellent. We both learn something new every class. Definitely highly recommended this gym!
We have 3 kids and they love it. Location is clean and maintained. Hannah is fantastic with the kids and always takes the time to teach techniques.

This grappling club has been such an amazing addition to our small town. 3 of my children (4,7,11) attend the classes and all enjoy it for different reasons. The instructors have not only taught my children how to defend themselves but the confidence they have taught is unmatched. They learn and progress with so many different activities that the kids really enjoy learning every class. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
